I am a humongous fan of Amazon and pay for a Prime subscription each year. I love the 2-day shipping and that's probably the biggest reason the $79 (now $99) is worth it to me. I also make use of the Prime Instant Video on a regular basis. Who needs cable?! I have also sold through Amazon--from school textbooks to vintage video games--and they make it very simple and profitable.

I go there for everything from books to beauty products and all that is in between. Don't even get me started on the joy that is the Kindle.

I have rarely had any issues with Amazon, but on the rare occasion that a package never showed up or the wrong item arrived they have always made it write immediately and with little red tape in the process. Truly a business that puts the customer first.
